Seminars are hosted by the National Police Bloodhound Association in conjunction with a sponsoring law enforcement agency.

Fall 2006 Training Seminar in Massachusetts

Sponsored by the National Police Bloodhound Association and hosted by the Wellfleet Police Department Bloodhound Unit.

This year’s seminar will be a working seminar and the cutoff for dog teams will be twenty. Send in your registration early if you plan on bringing your dog.

Attendance

You may attend and not bring your dog.

Food

Plenty of restaurants will be open near town and motel. Cookout on Saturday night.

Lodging

Mainstay Motor Inn, Route 6A, Wellfleet, Massachusetts. Reduced rates for handlers and their hounds (approximately $55 per night). There is a three-bedroom cottage available for $125 per night, which can accommodate up to six people. You are responsible for your own reservations. Hounds are allowed in rooms. Instructors

No expenses will be covered by the National Police Bloodhound Association.

Arrive Wednesday, October 4.
Depart Sunday, October 8.

Briefing on Wednesday, October 4 from 1600 to 1700 hours at the Wellfleet Police Department, 36 Gross Hill Road, Wellfleet, Massachusetts.

Wellfleet, Massachusetts (Cape Cod)

Rural, woods, town, beaches, 20,000 acres of National Seashore Area, and decommissioned military base.
