Seminars are hosted by the National Police Bloodhound Association in conjunction with a sponsoring law enforcement agency.
Sponsored by the National Police Bloodhound Association and hosted by the Vernon Township, New Jersey Police Department.
You may attend with or without a dog.
For those staying in camp, all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) are provided as part of the registration. On Thursday, the Tri-State Law Enforcement Association has a dinner at the Bella Vita Restaurant for an additional $22.00 which includes an open bar and dinner. They were nice enough to change the location for the month to accommodate us. On Saturday, there will be a pig roast at Gebhard’s which is about 15 minutes from camp. If you choose to eat out and not at camp, there are plenty of restaurants in the area. Based on the rising costs and the economy, meals for offsite attendees will be available, however, the fees will be determined on your arrival.
The in-camp registration includes overnight lodging similar to New York. The cabins have electric with the bathrooms and showers. There is no heat in these cabins, but don’t forget you are in New Jersey and you may bring a space heater if you feel you will need it. If you prefer a hotel, you may call Days Inn, State Highway 94, Vernon, New Jersey at (973) 827-4666. The rates are approximately $79.00 per night and they do accept pets for an additional fee. You may also call the Appalachian Motel, State Highway 94, Vernon, New Jersey at (973) 764-6070 where the rooms are approximately $69.00 per night.
